A departure ceremony is held for students participating in the Overseas Educational Cruise. After the ceremony, students board the Bosei Maru commencing the journey to the South Pacific oceans.

Students from Thailand participate in the Summer Training Program. They study in Tokai's research laboratories as well as intern in Japanese corporations.

International students participate in the Japanese Speech Contest which besides, contents of the speech, tests their fluency in the Japanese language.

Traditional Japanese dance techniques are taught to international students at the “Intercultural Exchange―Let's try traditional Japanese dance!” project. On the day of event instructor Bando from the Japanese Traditional Dance Association (rightmost in the left picture) taught dance called “Iwaibune”.

The event of “International fair” held on Shonan campus with representatives from international students, including exchange students based on academic agreement between overseas higher educational institutions.
