Simulation-based Language Education (SIMBLE): The physical and perceptual limitations of language classrooms will be removed by allowing a linguistically diverse, international cohort of learners to develop critical thinking skills, language proficiency, and content knowledge while interacting within low stress, immersive computer simulations. The SIMBLE concept builds on interdisciplinary research into applied linguistics, technology enhanced language learning (TELL), and psychology.
