My main scholarly interests lie in legal-sociological studies of legal phenomenon, using the methodology of interaction analysis, i.e., ethonomethodological and conversation analytic studies of law-related settings and organizations, such as lawyer-client consultation, mediation communication, jury deliberations, legal negotiations, court examinations by lawyers, and so on. I also investigate how the communication between nursing persons and older people should be constructed with a view to implementing the better QOL of older people.
