I have been studying about the impacts of Sport Mega-event (SME) on local community for years. Recently, I am involved in a collaborative research about the 2019 Rugby World Cup and its impacts on a host city, Kamaishi, which experienced serious damage by the earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. My focus is on the ways that local people have been taking advantage of the event to rehab their lives. I am also interested in the media discourse on the event and its power to construct the city image and local identity.ResearchAreasComplex systemsKeywords■Sport Mega-event■GovernmentalityRelatedresearchSDGThe impacts of Sport Mega-event on local communityJunior Associate ProfessorMasayuki TakaoUndergraduate School of Physical EducationDepartment of Physical EducationStudying about Tactics and Tactical learning in competitive sports, especially in Handball, from a broad perspective.Conventionally, tactical ability has been regarded to depend largely on innate.
