Organic luminescent molecules attract many interests due to their possible applications. However, most π-conjugated organic dyes have encountered serious problems on their emissions in the concentrated phase (solid and gel) because of aggregation caused quenching (ACQ). Emission in the concentrated phase can be realized by constructing the orientation of the dye molecules. Aggregation induced emission enhancement (AIEE) is one of the promising strategy to realize emission in the solid phase. We design and synthesize novel organic luminescent dyes that display AIEE.ResearchAreasChemistryKeywords■Organic Chemistry■Supramolecular Chemistry■Luminescent materials■Aggregation Induced Emission■Circularly Polarized LuminescenceRelatedresearchSDGDevelopment of Luminescent Organic MaterialsJunior Associate ProfessorToshiaki IkedaUndergraduate School of ScienceDepartment of Chemistry67
