Our laboratory collaborates with companies in various industries and engages in practical research. Specically, we are developing research on consumer behavior by adding social media data (data acquired from SNS etc.) in addition to existing marketing data provided by retail and service providers. By utilizing social media, it is possible to know the interests of customers and the connections between consumers. We believe that marketing activities using these data (social media marketing) will become even more important in the near future.ResearchAreasComplex systemsKeyword■Marketing Science■Social Media Marketing■Consumer Behavior■Data Science□Operations ResearchRelatedresearchSDGElucidation of consumer behavior using social data in the marketing eldAssistant ProfessorKohei OtakeUndergraduate School of Information and Telecommunication EngineeringDepartment of Management Systems EngineeringIt is not uncommon to conduct test marketing for the purpose of mar-ket research when dropping new products to the market. However, if you actually drop it you will need a lot of money. I focus for innovation theory. A generalized model with a deep learning model and do features of highly sensitive consumers, visually and numerically clearly, using decision tree analysis from that model. From the analysis results, attached more images, and the older the older, the better it got a report that empathizes with sensitive consumers. When conducting test mar-keting, it is predicted that high-sensitivity consumers will be able to ob-tain preferable results by targeting people with this characteristic.ResearchAreasComplex systemsKeyword■Marketing■Marketing research■Data analysis■Social research□Economic scienceRelatedresearchSDGHigh sensitivity layer feature analysis in food marketProfessor (-2019)Yumi AsahiUndergraduate School of Information and Telecommunication EngineeringDepartment of Management Systems EngineeringUndergraduate School of Information and Telecommunication EngineeringDepartment of Communication and Network EngineeringThe atmospheric influences on propagating laser beam in free-space optical communications are studied by experimental measurements, theoretical analyses and numerical simulations. Approaches to establish optical links by pointing, acquisition and tracking are proposed as well as the way to conrm the propagation direction of transmitted beam. Technologies used in optical information processing and meteorology are introduced to design optical communications equipment and to improve the accuracy of theoretical estimation. The experiences are also applied to the underwater laser communications.ResearchAreasEngineeringKeyword■Free-space optical communicationsRelatedresearchSDGAtmospheric inuences on free-space optical communicationsProfessorYoshihisa Takayama92
