Isehara campus is adjacent to Tokai University Hospital, a designated advanced treatment hospital that is directly affiliated with the shcool of Medicine, which also serves the central hospital for the local region. The hospital provides students from the undergraduate school of Medicine and Health Science as well as third and fourth year students in the department of biomedical engineering at the undergraduate school of Engineering with the opportunity to observe and use advanced medical equipment in a real-life setting. In addition to technology and treatment aspects, students are also taught about compassion and humanity in the delivery of health care services.
