Two Tokai Students Participate in UMAP-COIL Joint Program

Undergraduate School of Tourism, Department of Tourism 4th year student Hayato Inamura and Undergraduate School of Engineering, Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics 2nd year student Daiki Tsuzuki participated in the UMAP-COIL Joint Program, an online program on international collaboration held by University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) and Kansai University from July 22 to September 19. Established in 1991, UMAP is an organization that promotes exchange among students, faculty, and staff at institutions of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region. UMAP oversees the UMAP Credit Transfer Scheme, which supports credit transfers among member schools, and offers student exchange programs. Tokai University officially joined UMAP last year, and this is the first time that Tokai students are participating in UMAP programming.
