研究内容

物資輸送における資源の最適配分問題

これまで，主に国際海上コンテナ輸送における資源の最適配分問題を数理計画問題として研究を進めてきた．現在は，近年の国際的貿易不均衡によって深刻化している空コンテナの回送問題に関する研究を行っている．海上コンテナは，実入り/空という状態の変化があるものの，外見上は同一の荷姿である．つまり，コンテナは空の状態であっても実入りと同様の扱いが求められるので，より効率的/効果的な運用方法の検討が必要である．
