Opening and closing days during the New Year holidays
留学生の皆様へ
出入国在留管理庁は、12月27日（土）から1月4日（日）まで年末年始の閉庁期間となり、在留手続き窓口業務は行われませんのでご注意ください。
在留期限が近づいている外国人留学生の方は、必ずご自身の在留期限を確認し、早めに在留申請を行ってください。延長手続きを忘れて不法滞在にならないよう、十分にご注意ください。
また、上記期間中に特例期間が満了する留学生についても、必ず余裕をもって新しい在留期間更新の交付手続きを完了するようお願いいたします。
International Students
Please be advised that the Immigration Bureau will be closed for the holidays from Saturday, December 27 to Sunday, January 4.
If your period of stay is approaching its expiration date, please check the validity of your residence card and apply for an extension as early as possible. If your status of residence is approaching its expiration, please take the necessary steps to renew it promptly, as failure to do so may result in being considered an illegal resident.
Additionally, if your special period is set to expire during the closure period noted above, please make sure to complete all renewal procedures well in advance.
