４月３日、日本政府は新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する今後の水際措置の詳細が公表されました。措置の概要は以下のとおりです。
On April 3, details of the Japanese government’s upcoming border control measures regarding novel coronavirus infection were released. A summary of the measures is as follows.
１．令和５年５月８日に予定されている新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染症法上の位置づけの変更に伴い、新型コロナウイルス感染症に係る水際措置（臨時的な措置を含む）を終了する予定です。
1. The border control measures (including temporary measures) for novel coronavirus infectious diseases are scheduled to be terminated in accordance with the change in the status of new coronavirus infectious diseases under the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases scheduled for May 8, 2023.
一方で政府は代替の枠組みとして「感染症ゲノムサーベイランス（仮称）」を設け、有症状者へのゲノム検査を５月８日から開始します。
On the other hand, the government has launched the ” Genomic Surveillance of Infectious Diseases (tentative name)” as an alternative framework and will conduct genomic test for symptomatic patients from May 8.
※サーベイランス：注意深く監視する。
※Surveillance: Monitor carefully.
２．４月５日以降、中国（香港・マカオを除く）からの直行旅客便での入国者に対しては、以下のように変更されます。
2. From April 5, the following changes have been applied to entering the country by direct passenger flights from China (except Hong Kong and Macau).
変更前：中国（香港・マカオを除く）からの直行旅客便での入国者に対しては「出国前72時間以内に受けた検査の陰性証明書」の提出を求めることとする。
Before：Entering by direct passenger flights from China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) were requested to submit a certificate of a negative test result of Covid-19 test conducted within 72 hours prior to departure.
変更後：４月５日以降、中国（香港・マカオを除く）からの直行旅客便での入国者に対しては、「出国前 72 時間以内に受けた検査の陰性証明書」又は「ワクチンの接種証明書（３回）」のいずれかの提出を求める。
Update：From April 5, travellers entering by direct flights from China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) are requested to submit either a certificate of negative result of COVID-19 test conducted within 72 hours prior to departure, or a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate of three doses or equivalent.
※中国製ワクチンについては、微信（Wechat）上のミニプログラム「防疫健康碼国際版」で取得できる「国際旅行健康証明（International Travel Health Certificate）」を利用することをお勧めします。
※For Chinese vaccines, it is recommended to use the International Travel Health Certificate “国際旅行健康証明”, which can be obtained through the mini-program “防疫健康碼国際版” on Wechat.
